Tour Description
Starting in Perth city, the tour takes in all key attractions and historical points of interest. We begin our day at the beautiful Kings Park botanical gardens, whilst here you will have time to expereince a walk through the tree canopies on the Tree Top Walkway giving you a birdseye view of Perth's city skyline. Later, we continue to one of Perth's best beaches Cottesloe Beach before arriving at the historic port town of Fremantle.
Stay on the coach and return to Perth by road, travelling past Perth's most exclusive suburbs, the University of Western Australia, Royal Perth Yacht Club, the Old Swan Brewery, Barrack Street Jetty, the famous Bell Tower and finally the Perth Mint (PFSV no cruise). Alternatively, return to Perth via the optional Swan River Crusie with captain Cook Cruises. On board, relax into panoramic scenery of Perth as you enjoy a Western Australian wine tasting whilst crusising by extravagant waterfront houses of Millionaires Row (PFSV with cruise).
After 30 minutes free time in Perth city for lunch (own expense), re-board the coach and travel through the historic town of Guildford to the Swan Valley, Western Australia's first wine growing region. Feed kangaroos and see an adorable koala at Caversham Wildlife Park. We then visit the Swan Valley outlet of the Margaret River Chocolate Factory. Sample their delicious chocolate or perhaps indulge yourself and enjoy a cup of their famous hot chocolate and a decadent truffle (own expense). Select a souvenir from their wide range of delicacies. Further on we stop for some wine tasting at Sandalford Wines. Founded in 1840, today they offer an extensive cellar and wine emporium gift store featuring wine accessories and works by local artisits. Return to Perth via the Burswood Resort & Casino with arrival at approximately 5.30pm.
