What to bring:
Casual gear is a must. You will need 3 to 4 changes of clothing. T-shirts, jeans, shorts, bathers, bath and hand towel, a pair of rubber soled shoes or joggers, a warm jumper or jacket, hat, torch, sleeping bag, pillow, insect repellent and toiletries. A track suit is most useful, too.

DAY 1 BROOME – DERBY – FITZROY CROSSING (LD)
Departing Broome, your adventure begins. Travelling along the Great Northern Highway to Derby, where we take a tour of the township, Boab Prison Tree, Myall's Bore and the 120 meter long Cattle Trough. We stop off at the Derby Wharf for lunch, with its 11.5 meter tides, the second largest in the world. Continuing onto Fitzroy Crossing and our camp at Fitzroy River Lodge Campground. Full facilities.

DAY 2 FITZROY CROSSING –GEIKIE GORGE- TUNNEL CREEK - WINDJANA GORGE (BLD)
This morning, we enjoy a fascinating cruise of Geikie Gorge on the Fitzroy River where the gorge has been cut through an ancient fossilized reef. We then make our way to Tunnel Creek, a fascinating 750m tunnel with permanent pools of water snaking its way through the Napier Range. With torch in hand, we wade through the water to view the wonderful oasis that awaits us on the other side (walk optional). This afternoon finds us arriving at the imposing Windjana Gorge, impressive and uniquely formed from ancient limestone reef. Take time to walk through this fascinating gorge. Camp tonight at Windjana Gorge. Bushcamp with toilets and bush shower.

DAY 3 WINDJANA GORGE – MANNING GORGE (BLD)
Before leaving, you may still see freshwater crocodiles lazing on the banks of the Lennard River, which runs through Windjana Gorge. As we push on along the Gibb River Road, we really learn the meaning of isolation. Sparsely scattered cattle stations being the only signs of civilization. We stop off at Bells Gorge and Galvans Gorge, before arrving at Manning Gorge. We set up camp at Manning Gorge, which is an ideal location to relax and enjoy a leisurely afternoon. Campground with bush shower and toilet.

DAY 4 MANNING GORGE – KING EDWARD RIVER (BLD) (2 nights)
We continue east on the Gibb River Road before turning north onto the Kalumburu Road, stopping off at Drysdale Station. We travel on to our camp on the banks of the King Edward River with its crystal clear water pools. Bushcamp with toilets and bush shower.

DAY 5 MITCHELL PLATEAU & MITCHELL FALLS (BLD)
We drive through unique forests of Livistonia Palms and landscapes to find the remote Mitchell Plateau. We explore Little Merten and Big Merten Falls, before arriving at Mitchell Falls. Take a refreshing swim in the pools above the falls. Late afternoon we return to camp on the King Edward River. Take a one way scenic helicopter flight and walk one way from the Falls. Bushcamp with toilets and bush shower.

DAY 6 KING EDWARD RIVER – EL QUESTRO (BLD) (2 nights)
Heading south on the Kalumburu Road, we rejoin the Gibb River Road and continue west, we cross the mighty Pentecost River along the picturesque Cockburn Ranges. before arriving at El Questro Wilderness Park on the Chamberlain River. Our overnight camp for the next two nights. Campground with full facilities.


DAY 7 EL QUESTRO WILDERNESS PARK (BLD)
Today is a dream start for our day in this world's unique holiday destination with a relaxing and revitalizing swim amongst Livistonia Palms at Zebedee Thermal Springs. This afternoon relax, take the Chamberlain Gorge cruise (own expenses). Campground with full facilities.

DAY 8 EL QUESTRO - BUNGLE BUNGLE (BLD) (2 NIGHTS)
Via Doon Doon and Turkey Creek we spend the day making our way into the awe inspiring and unique Purnululu National Park also known as the Bungle Bungle. With its many and varied features the Bungle Bungle provides a unique opportunity to experience one of Australia’s most unspoilt and ancient landscapes adorned with contrasting vegetation from the hardy spinifex and eucalypts to the majestic more selective Livistonia Palms with sunsets second to none! Bush Camp with toilets.

DAY 9 BUNGLE BUNGLE (BLD)
To continue our exploration of the Bungle Bungle this morning is "massif" as we set off to the wondrous Bee Hive domes, Piccaninny Creek and Cathedral Gorge within the Purnululu "massif"! Today you can also take a helicopter flight (own expense) for a birds eye view of this amazing area. The Bungle Bungle just keeps giving as this afternoon we venture into the magnificent Echidna Chasm. Bush camp with toilets.

DAY 10 BUNGLE BUNGLE - WYNDHAM- KUNUNURRA (BL) (2 NIGHTS)
Leaving the Bungle Bungle, we take a short break at Warmun also known as Turkey Creek before travelling on to Wyndham and the Five Rivers Lookout with its spectacular views over the five major rivers that flow into the Cambridge Gulf. On arrival at Kununurra it is onto our campsite for the next 2 nights at Kimberleyland Tourist Park located on the banks of Lake Kununurra. Campground with full facilities.

DAY 11 KUNUNURRA (BLD)
This morning enjoy a leisurely 3 hour cruise on the Ord River from Lake Kununurra to the Dam Wall of Lake Argyle. This cruise provides you with magnificent scenery, prolific bird life and varying fauna as you pass through a variety of different landscapes. Upon conclusion of the cruise at the Dam Wall on Lake Argyle we return to Kununurra, stopping off at the Durack Homestead Museum. The afternoon is yours to sit back and relax or take in the sights. Campground with full facilities.

DAY 12 KUNUNURRA - KATHERINE GORGE (BLD)
Heading East along the Victoria Highway we cross the border from Western Australia into the Northern Territory and into the Victoria River Region with towering escarpments and rock formations that make this region unique. After refreshment stops at Timber Creek and the "Vic" River Roadhouse we venture through Katherine to Nitmiluk National Park and Katherine Gorge. Overnight camp at Katherine Gorge with full facilities.

DAY 13 KATHERINE GORGE - KAKADU NATIONAL PARK- COOINDA (BLD)
This morning you enjoy an unforgettable cruise on the renowned Katherine River Gorge. This afternoon takes us onto the Kakadu Highway to Cooinda within the World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park with visits to the Warradjan Cultural Centre and Nourlangie Rock featuring some magnificent Aboriginal Rock Art Galleries. Camp ground at Cooinda with full facilities.

DAY 14 KAKADU- YELLOW WATERS CRUISE- UBIRR ROCK- DARWIN (BL)
An early start gives us a 90 minute Cruise on the world renowned Yellow Waters Billabong with its abundance of birdlife, wildlife and amazing vegetation. After lunching in Jabiru it is onto our last but not least tour highlight of Ubirr Rock. From this rocky plateau enjoy spectacular views over the East Alligator River flood plains and Arnhemland and view one of the Aboriginal Rock Art sites of this region. Our final leg of the journey takes us along the Arnhem Highway to Darwin where we bid farewell and our Kimberley adventure concludes.
