The first half hour of every tour is for setting you up with all the safety gear – a full face helmet, goggles and gloves – and then your guide will give you a safety brief on quad bike operation and get you to complete laps of the practice track until you’re feeling confident to go out on tour!!
No experience is necessary as quads are automatic and easy to use. Each tour is catered to the participants ability so first time and experienced riders are both welcome! Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action is committed to safety and reserves the right to stop any rider from continuing the tour if safety instructions are not followed.

The All Terrain Adventure is designed to give you more time on the quad bike to experience the wide variety of terrain we have on offer. We’ll guide you through sand and gravel tracks, open grassland, winding tracks through native bush, and more technical rocky tracks to test your ability!

A guided quad bike tour with the team at Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action is the best way to see an otherwise inaccessible part of Kangaroo Island!! Ride your own quad bike (ATV) through 500 acres of open grassland and pristine native bush, checking out wildlife and stunning views of the Southern Ocean along the way. We have a wide variety of terrain and give you the freedom to ride safely to the conditions and within your ability.
All our tours are with experienced and professional guides who can give an informative commentary on wildlife and local area history. There are lots of photo opportunities and possible sightings of Kangaroo Island’s wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, echidnas, wallabies, goannas, birdlife and more!

Be a part of the action without having to ride your own quad - come as a passenger in the lead quad bike driven by your tour guide! Minimum age of passengers is 5 years old (younger children may be taken at guides discretion, please enquire on (08) 8559 4296).

Sports Upgrade - Bigger, better, faster!!
Upgrade to our manual Honda TRX 250cc quads with a clutch. For experienced riders only, minimum age 16 years.

Don't want to be just another face in the crowd? We have a private option with all our tours so you can ride with just you, your guide and your family or friends! To make any tour private, all you'll need to pay is an extra $98 on top of the regular tour price, no matter what size your group is!!
