What to bring:
Sturdy closed walking shoes, sensible clothing as temperatures can change ,warm and rain proof jackets for winter colder months and hats and sunscreen for summer, swimming gear, towel, toiletries insect repellent and camera for some great scenic shots

2 Day Melbourne to Melbourne Tour
Day 1 - Great Ocean Road ( MT, L)
Departing Melbourne we make our way to the start of the Great Ocean Road Dramatically beautiful, a journey of contrasts from massive rock formations sculptured by the waves to stunning beaches and ancient rainforest. Visiting many of the small coastal towns and the great highlights along this scenic route:

• Bells Beach- Enjoy some complimentary morning tea/coffee as we watch the surfers at Bells Beach.

• Memorial Arch - Take some pictures at the historic Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch.

• Beach Walk - Go for a stroll along some of the beautiful beaches.

• Lorne & Anglesea - View some spectacular beaches and lookouts.

• Koala’s in the Wild – The Ottway forest meets the sea at Kennett River where the koalas can be seen sitting up in the trees and the brightly King Parrots and Crimson Rosella’ feed out of your hands.Be on the lookout for the famous laughing Kookaburra.

• Free Restaurant Lunch At Iluka (Apollo Bay) -Enjoy a range of Lunch options such as Chicken, Fish, Beef or Vegetarian meals from one of the nicest restaurant in Apollo Bay (Iluka!).

• Otway's Rainforest (Mait's Rest) -Take a guided bushwalk through this very rare, ancient and cool temperate rainforest. You'll feel dwarfed as you stroll past some of the tallest trees in the world. The path is an easy 800 metres long circular walk and can be slippery at places. Shoes with a grip are recommended.

• 12 Apostles - The famous 12 Apostles are the highlight of the Great Ocean Road and one of the best known destinations in Australia The magnificent Limestone Stacks rising out of the sea and the stunning coastal scenery make for some fantastic photo shots to remember your Great Ocean Road Adventure.

• Helicopter Flights – Take a Helicopter flight over the 12 Apostles for magnificent ocean views.($75pp weather permitting)

• Bay of Islands /Martyrs- The Limestone stacks tower from the ocean creating a haunting and beautiful landscape.

• Loch Ard Gorge - Named after one of Victoria's most tragic shipwrecks. Take a short walk to view the Razorback, Salt and pepper or just laze on the beach at the bottom of the gorge.



• London Bridge - London Bridge has fallen down.... stunning photo opportunity and a great story behind it.

• Warrnambool – Stop for Dinner and supplies for lunch the next day before heading into the Grampians.

• Kangaroos -Night-time Kangaroo spotting in Halls Gap

Overnight stay at Ned's Other beds
Spend the night in the heart of Grampians National Park. All accommodation is pre-arranged for our customers at Halls Gap and Ned's Other beds.

Day 2 - The Grampians National Park (B)

Tour the Grampians National Park
Home to the Kangaroos, Wallabies, Koalas, Emus, Birds, Echidnas and many other Australian creatures as well as an abundant array of plant life. 'A Wildlife, Waterfall, Walker's paradise! Get up early and have a look around your hostel. There will be kangaroos everywhere, noisy corellas flying above your head, you might even get lucky and spot secretive wallaby.

• Boroka & Reed's Lookout or Bellfield Lake- Take a stroll along the lake's shore and breathe in fresh, mountain air. This ever popular walking and picnicking spot is just a short drive from Hall's Gap.

• Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre - Learn about the history and culture of the Jardwadjali and Djab Wurring Aboriginal tribes.

• McKenzie Falls, Clematis Falls or Silverband Falls - A pleasant, 1.8 km return walk on a well maintained path. This will take you to the beautiful Waterfall.

• Mountain Hike - Take a hike up one of the majestic mountains for stunning views overlooking the Grampians

• Halls Gap - Spend time in the beautiful Halls Gap, the heart of the Grampians National Park.

After a morning of activity within the Grampians you make your way either;
* Back to Melbourne on the Wildlife Tours Coach
* On to Adelaide on the V Line Coach or with Goin Souths small charter bus. Extra cost $30pp Adelaide connection.

• Departs every Monday ,Thursday and Saturday ( October – March)
• Departs every Monday and Thursday (April to September)
