Tour Description
A leisurely morning as you make your way to Crocosaurus Cove and enter the world of the awesome Saltwater Crocodile, with some of the largest held in captivity. Get up close & personal with a ‘swim with the crocs’, watch the jumping croc feeding and walk through the air conditioned reptile display. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at the locals favourite, The Tap Bar, before joining the most comprehensive Darwin City tour available. The perfect introduction to Darwin with your experienced and knowledgeable guide providing an informative and interesting commentary. Join this tour in the afternoon and see the Chinese Temple and the lush Botanical Gardens. Tour the historic sites of the city including the East Point Military Precinct. See the Stokes Hill Wharf area and the Mooring Basin. There is also time available to explore the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. After the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel. (excluding Indigenous Dreaming Sunset Cruise Option - DDTSC).
Indigenous Dreaming Sunset Cruise Option: After the city sights tour, you will be dropped off at Cullen Bay Marina for a cruise on magnificent Darwin Harbour where you can relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset in paradise. As well as an outstanding sunset you will be welcomed by a Traditional Owner who will provide an interactive cultural experience. Cruise on to a sand bar or beach then try your hand at spear throwing, playing a didgeridoo and creating traditional aboriginal craft items. After the Cruise you will need to make your own way back to your accommodation from either Cullen Bay or Stokes Hill Wharf. Or why not spend a bit of time and check out the great restaurants in the area.
