Tour Description
Leaving Brisbane we head straight to the action at SURFERS PARADISE. This is Queenslands most famous location and an Australian icon. Browse the shops, chill out in the cafes and of course take a dip and sunbake on the world famous beach!
We then head up to the mountains and SPRINGBROOK NATIONAL PARK. The drive up is spectacular as we delve into the lush WORLD HERITAGE RAINFOREST. We stop at the breathtaking lookouts with fantastic views over the Gold Coast, The Mt Warning Volcanic Caldera and south all the way to Byron Bay from the BEST OF ALL LOOKOUTS!
Our 3 kilometre hike takes us through VOLCANIC CAVES and under WATERFALLS while your guide explains about the rainforest plants and the dramatic story of the evolution of this pristine area. A moderate level of fitness is required to be rewarded with a picnic lunch at the base of Twin Falls. You wil be rewarded with more lookouts and a trip through the beautiful Numinbah Valley on our way back home.
