Tour Description

En Route
Hop on board your see-through roof double-decker as we set out to explore all the iconic Sydney sights.

Milsons Point
One of Sydney’s more picturesque and affluent suburbs, Milsons Point features beautiful homes, churches and schools, many built in the late 1800s, and an abundance of restaurants, cafés and boutique shops. Get your camera out for incredible views of the Sydney Harbour and Opera House.

Sydney Harbour Bridge walk
Now it's time for a guided walk across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. No trip to Sydney is complete without it. The bridge is one of the largest steel arch bridges in the world, a design that has led to it being affectionately known to locals as ‘the Coathanger’. Designed in 1924 to connect the northern and southern shores of this growing city, the Harbour Bridge opened in 1932 and is one of the city’s most well-known and photographed icons. With the Sydney Opera House close by and stunning panoramic views of the city skyline and harbour, it's a memory you'll treasure for a lifetime.

The Rocks
At the other end of the mighty span, at the very base of the Harbour Bridge, is the historic Rocks district. Featuring heritage-listed buildings and streetscapes, the Rocks is popular for its markets, cafés, boutique shops and spectacular harbour views. The area was inhabited by the indigenous Gadigal people, before the first European settlers claimed the land in 1788. Your Driver Guide will share stories, both tall and true, of the characters and events that shaped this port community.

Historic City Sights
Pass historic and picturesque Parliament House, Hyde Park, St. Mary’s Cathedral and the Art Gallery of New South Wales, all built in the 1800s.

Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair
Stop at Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, which sits high on Mrs. Macquarie’s Point. The chair is a sandstone rock, hand carved into a bench by convicts in 1810. Mrs. Macquarie, the wife of the then New South Wales Governor, was known to visit the area to take in the views. Experience a short guided walk along the Harbour foreshore.

Sydney Opera House
From Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair you’ll get another birds-eye view of the Sydney Opera House, arguably the most recognisable icon in the world. This World Heritage listed building is considered a masterpiece of late modern architecture and a world class performing arts venue.

Woolloomooloo & Darling Harbour
Back on board, take in views of Sydney’s Navy base at Woolloomooloo. Then we travel through Sydney’s lively night district of Kings Cross. Relax as we pass the Chinese Gardens and Darling Harbour precinct.
