Tour Description

Brisbane from the street or the river - hard to choose, right? Well, why not both? This tour allows you to see the inland icons of Queensland's capital, without having to miss out on the beauty of the Brisbane River from a cruise vessel. This half-day guided tour is for those who want to experience it all from every angle.

• See all the sights of historic Brisbane’s CBD and beautiful river, including Parliament House, Anzac Square, Queen Street Mall, City Hall and Cathedral Square
• Hear the intriguing story of Brisbane’s colourful history and local famous characters
• Cross over and cruise under Story Bridge, Brisbane’s most iconic landmark and Australia’s longest cantilever bridge
• Relax on the river while taking in the views of the city from a unique angle

Departing at 8:45am, you will climb aboard the comfort of a coach to get a taste of all that Brisbane has to offer. You will drive through the historic city centre, with a guided tour that highlights all of the CBD’s defining places and the stories behind them.

Brisbane is Australia’s third largest city, and is thriving with both innovation and history. You will see parts of Brisbane's rich history and the modern boom and how it has created a trendy café culture.

Take in the awe-inspiring towers of St Stephen’s Cathedral and Cathedral Square, and the seat of power at Parliament House. See where the river meets the City Botanic Gardens, and travel over Story Bridge, the heritage-listed bridge that was built during the Great Depression to span from Kangaroo Point Cliffs and Brisbane CBD over Brisbane River.

At Kangaroo Point Cliffs, you will take in panoramic views of Brisbane’s skyline, the Story Bridge, and the winding Brisbane River. You will also cross Captain Cook Bridge and travel through Fortitude Valley, where the old meets the new.

Take in Anzac Square and the Shrine of Remembrance, and see the historic City Hall, built in the 1920s. You’ll also get to see Queen Street Mall, the heart of Brisbane’s shopping precinct.

You’ll see all that Brisbane has to offer inland, and you will see it all from the water as well. Kick back on the river cruise and let the tide show you all of Brisbane’s icons. See the South Bank Parklands and pass under Story Bridge, where you might see some climbers above. Have your camera ready to snap a selfie with the iconic landmarks of Brisbane River from a unique perspective as you enjoy the sights of Brisbane’s majestic waterfront homes and city skyline.

You will complete the tour at 12.15pm, having seen all that Brisbane has to offer and with an album full of sights and experiences that will last a lifetime.
