Our Cape Tribulation tour includes a nice air conditioned vehicle that seats a preferred small group number of 15 passengers, making up for a more personalised feel on your tour, and also means a better guide to passenger ratio. All of our drivers are experienced local eco-tour guides as well as your personal chef for the day, barbequing your choice of barramundi fish or rib fillet steak (all dietary requirements are catered for) along with a variety of salads.
Transfers to and from your accommodation are included, and we then set off along a scenic pristine coastal drive from Cairns, your first stop is Port Douglas where you stop at Four Mile Beach.
Heading further north, we will enjoy morning tea and coffee at the Daintree River Cruise Centre, before you heading off on the Daintree River Cruise in search for some live salt water crocodiles in their natural habitat.
Your driver then meets you on the other side of the Daintree River to take you to your next destination which is the Daintree Entomology Museum - which has the largest collection of insects and butterflies in Australia.
Enjoy your premium BBQ lunch which is cooked up on the spot. Located beside a private creek with turtles and eels you can have a swim if you like while waiting for your lunch or just enjoy hanging your feet in the refreshing water while enjoying your meal!
Next stop is the Alexandra Range Lookout.
Then we will visit Cape Tribulation beach and do a few wonderful walks through the Daintree and Cape Tribulation National Parks, after which, you can enjoy some afternoon refreshments.
Then its time for the journey back to Cairns, crossing the Daintree River again along the way, this time on the historic cable ferry.
