Tour Description
Starting in Perth city, the tour takes in all key attractions and historical points of interest. We begin our day at the beautiful Kings Park botanical gardens, whilst here you will have time to experience a walk through the tree canopies on the Tree Top Walkway giving you a birdseye view of Perth's city skyline. Later, we continue to one of Perth's best beaches Cottesloe Beach before arriving at the historic port town of Fremantle.
Stay on the coach and return to Perth by road, travelling past Perth's most exclusive suburbs, the University of Western Australia, Royal Perth Yacht Club, the Old Swan Brewery, Barrack Street Jetty, the famous Bell Tower and finally the Perth Mint (PFSV no cruise). Alternatively, return to Perth via the optional Swan River Cruise with Captain Cook Cruises. On board, relax into panoramic scenery of Perth skyline whilst cruising by extravagant waterfront houses of Millionaires Row (PFSV with cruise).
After 30 minutes free time in Perth city for lunch (own expense), re-board the coach and travel through the historic town of Guildford to the Swan Valley, Western Australia's first wine growing region. Feed kangaroos and see adorable koalas, wombats and wildlife at Caversham Wildlife Park. Here we also enjoy the Tumblegum Farm show where you will see sheep shearing and whip cracking. We then visit the Swan Valley outlet of the Margaret River Chocolate Factory. Sample their delicious chocolate or perhaps indulge yourself and enjoy a cup of their famous hot chocolate and a decadent truffle (own expense). Select a souvenir from their wide range of delicacies. Further on we stop for some wine tasting at one of the oldest Swan Valley Wineries; Edgecombe Winery. Return to Perth via the Crown Perth Casino with arrival at approximately 5.30pm.
